Medical Examination and Board
If you have committed an offence under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you must undergo a medical examination by a medical board.
If you have committed an offence unrelated to the consumption of alcohol or drugs, you should make an appointment with an approved doctor.
The length of the medical examination varies based on several criteria:
- the illness
- the nature of the offence
- the type of medical examination (HGV driving, etc.).
The CERFA version of the medical opinion is valid for 2 years.
