This service can be used if your report concerns a driving licence issued less than 6 months ago or an mistake on your personal data reported on your registration file which in less than 5 years old

    Prepare the required documents

    Here are the documents you will need to provide during your application:

    • The driving licence containing the error
    • Any document proving there is a mistake in your personal data

    Information on the registration file

    The application for reporting an error on your registration file can only be used for changes to your personal details.

    •  If there is an error in the category(ies) requested, you must complete a new application form accompanied by an explanatory note. Other errors (boxes ticked incorrectly, such as wearing corrective devices, for example) must be corrected by the examiner at the time of the test.
    • It is not necessary to change your address on your registration. This will be done when you apply for your licence.

    Once you have logged, on the category "Start a new transation" click on "Driving licence"

    Start your application

    • Choose the reason " Je souhaite signaler une erreur sur mon permis de conduire reçu il y a moins de 6 mois " (I want to report an error on my driving licence)
    • Complete your situation :
      • majeure, mineure émancipée ou mineure (adults/minors)registering for the driving test or return to driving licence (following invalidation or cancellation of driving licence)
      • Driving licence category asked
    • Click on "Valider définitivement ma situation" (Definitively confirm my situation)

    • Fill in your marital status
    • Fill in your postal address
    • Add your contat details

    The photograph and signature will be taken from the initial application. You will not be asked to provide them during the application process and therefore they cannot be changed.

    Once your application has been approuved:

    •     For an error on a driving licence: a new driving licence will be produced and sent to the address mentioned on the application form.
    • For an error on the registration file: the update to your information will be visible on the website mespoints.permisdeconduire.gouv.fr. You can then continue with your driving licence examination process using your NEPH number.
