How do I see how many points I have?

To check online how many points you have, click on this link:

The "Check how many points you have" function is accessible:

  • Via a FranceConnect identity,
  • Via your driver's license file number (or NEPH).

 

The driver's license file number (or NEPH) consists of 5 to 19 characters and can be found :

  • on your driving license
  • on your certificate of entitlement to drive provided by ANTS following your declaration of loss: in the "Characteristics of the driving license" field (N°)
  • on the letters you received informing you of the loss or recovery of points on your driving license: either in the top left-hand corner "Votre n° de dossier" (You file number) or at the very top ;
  • on your "relevé d'information restreint" (short information statement) or "relevé d'information intégral" (full information statement) if you have already requested one (on the Internet or at the prefecture): in the "Numéro du permis de conduire" (Driver's license number) zone.

Your driving licence can carry up to 12 points.

In the event of a Highway Code offence or if you are responsible for an accident involving personal injury, points will be deducted. You will be informed by post.


Please note: there is a time lag between the time when the traffic offence is committed and the time when Mes points permis registers the loss of points. Similarly, there is a time lag between when the points are reallocated and when Mes points permis records the addition of points.
